In 2013 we held a series of workshops with 20 people from a blue chip, global company. Of the 20 people who took part, 15 were identified with potential to reach the next level, so we provided them with intensive training in:
- Personal skills
- Team skills
- Financial & budgeting skills
- Customer skills
Since then…
Two out of the 15 participants have been promoted.
And all 15 are on a “global fast track” and as a result of our work the company is developing a “succession planning” policy, in other words to identify and develop people already working at an organisation who have the potential to fill key business leadership positions.
This policy will help them to increase the availability of experienced and capable employees prepared to take on new roles with managerial and executive responsibilities as they become available.
